HARLEY-DAVIDSON’S 105th ANNIVERSARY TO BE CELEBRATED IN SOCAL
AT CALIFORNIA HARLEY-DAVIDSON IN HARBOR CITY
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 & 17
(HARBOR CITY, CA) One of the largest celebrations of Harley-Davidson ‘s 105th anniversary in Southern California will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 & 17 at California Harley-Davidson in Harbor City from 11am to 4pm. California Harley-Davidson is one of the largest Harley dealerships on the West Coast and proud to host two days of free concerts, demo rides, barbecues, and more. Admission is free and all members of the family are welcome.
The dealership will display all of the new 105th Anniversary special edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles (while supplies last), along with Harley’s new 2008-2009 line of raw, stripped-down, hard-edge Dark Custom motorcycles and MotorClothes. The showroom will feature a huge selection of new and used Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles, and there will be blowout sales throughout their two-story clothing and accessories department.
A major attraction of the party will be two days of free demo rides on a full range of Buell motorcycles, Harley’s sport bike models. Customers can ride as many models as they like (based on availability) on a 15-mile course with twists and turns. All demo riders must have a valid California Motorcycle Drivers License, proof of insurance, and they must sign a liability release and demo response form. Long pants, appropriate footwear and a helmet are required.
The free outdoor concert on Saturday features The Cadillac Angels, who have been playing hubcap stealin’ rock and roll throughout the U.S. and Europe for over 15 years. Fronted by wiry guitar-wrangler and vocalist Tony Balbinot, the Santa Barbara-based band has released 19 CDs of their unique, firebrand blend of roots, rockabilly, and surf.
Sunday’s concert features five firecrackin’-hot women who play classic rock with an electrifying, stadium-caliber intensity. The Undercover Girls, featuring Jessica Pennington, Julie Dolan, Tris Beezley, Liza Sanchez, Sylvie La Croix, were voted Best Cover Band of 2007 at the All Access Music Awards for covering the hits of The Rolling Stones, Heart, Aerosmith, Pat Benatar, Steppenwolf, Nirvana, Paul McCartney & Wings, Cheap Trick, Jimi Hendrix, Foghat, The Doobie Bros., Three Dog Night, The Go-Go's, Prince, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, and more.
